smugtown_stompersThe SMUGTOWN STOMPERS, formed in 1958 by 78-rpm jazz-record collectors, plays the Traditional Dixieland Jazz repertoire with emphasis on the “less-often-played” tunes written or recorded before 1930.   Musical selections come from dance tunes (stomps, one-steps, two-steps, cakewalks), ragtime, blues, popular songs as well as a few vaudeville and novelty types.
